30th Annual House and Garden Walk Showcases Elegant Homes while Benefiting Lighthouse Programs

Nearly 400 visitors toured some of the North Shore’s most elegant homes on June 23rd while supporting Lighthouse programs assisting people who are blind, visually impaired, disabled and Veterans during the 30th Annual House and Garden Walk.

Sponsored by the agency’s Associate Board, this very special event raised more than $80,000.  It featured detailed tours of four homes in Glencoe, Kenilworth and Highland Park.

The Associate Board is a group of dedicated women from Chicago and the North Shore who have joined together to raise awareness about the services offered at The Chicago Lighthouse.  Since 1986, the Associate Board has raised over $1.4 million for children, seniors and family support services.
