MENTAL HEALTH QUESTIONS
What if I’m not experiencing a “mental health crisis”? Can I still use these services?
Yes! You don’t need to be at a point of crisis to consider mental health care. Therapy isn’t just for emergencies or limited to people facing serious problems – it can also support personal growth and help you live a more balanced and fulfilling life. For many, caring for mental health means maintaining emotional well-being and having a safe space to express feelings or burdens that may be difficult to share with friends or loved ones.
Will my information be kept private?
ABSOLUTELY. All mental health services are confidential and protected under privacy laws. Your information is kept strictly between you and your healthcare provider. Accessing mental health services will have no impact on your employment status or eligibility to participate in other programs or services at the Lighthouse.
