John Roselli
As The Chicago Lighthouse’s first Chief Innovation Officer, John Roselli will work to build upon the organization’s long history of innovation to capitalize on Social Business Enterprise and Social Services Enterprise opportunities. John is a seasoned business executive who has over 30 years of leadership experience in business operations, strategic planning, finance, and mergers and acquisitions. After a lifetime in the for-profit sector, John felt it was time to put his business acumen to work in the nonprofit world.
Prior to joining The Chicago Lighthouse, John was an Operating Partner with New Harbor Capital working with their portfolio companies as Executive Chair and Interim CEO. In that role he offered his executive leadership to drive growth, operational efficiency, and organizational development. Before New Harbor Capital, John was Chief Strategy Officer at Renaissance Learning, a $300 million provide of K-12 digital curriculum and assessment products. He also held senior roles at Adtalem Global Education as President of Becker Professional Education, growing revenue 100% during his tenure, and SVP of Strategy and Corporate Development, completing over $1B+ in acquisitions, expanding international markets and driving significant revenue growth.
John was drawn to The Lighthouse by our unique social enterprise model and is excited for the opportunity to strengthen and expand these operations and the resources they provide for the disabled community.
