Seniors Program – In-Person Only in Chicago: Audio Descriptive Movie, The Color Purple
This program will take place at our Chicago office.
The Color Purple will be shown with audio description which uses narration to describe visual content. A story of love & resilience based on the novel & the Broadway musical, The Color Purple is a decades-spanning tale of one woman’s journey to independence. Celie faces many hardships in her life, but ultimately finds extraordinary strength & hope in the unbreakable bonds of sisterhood. Produced by Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Scott Sanders, & Quincy Jones. Rated PG-13.
