BSD Enterprises: Quality Interactions for your Call Center

BlindSight Delaware Enterprises (BSDE), Inc. is a new nonprofit with a mission to create pathways toward independence for people who are blind, visually impaired, disabled, and Veterans through workforce development and employment opportunities.

A partnership between BlindSight Delaware and The Chicago Lighthouse, BSDE Inc. is built upon a social enterprise model developed by The Chicago Lighthouse in 2013. Revenues generated through BSDE Inc.’s operations will help support social service programs for people who are blind, visually impaired, disabled, and Veterans in the greater Wilmington and Chicago areas.

BSDE Inc. is part of The Chicago Lighthouse’s “Employment for All” initiative that seeks to develop partnerships that strengthen communities by providing new opportunities for accessible employment. Business solutions provided by BSDE Inc. include customer service call centers, contract closeout, shipping and fulfillment, and accessibility consulting for websites and other digital properties.

About BlindSight Delaware

BlindSight Delaware (formerly the Delaware Association for the Blind) has been supporting the independence and quality of life people who are blind or visually impaired since 1948. BlindSight offers Peer Support programs, Health & Wellness services, Low Vision adaptive products, and other information and assistance to more than 600 people every year.
