Kashifa Ansari, OD

Dr. Kashifa Ansari graduated cum laude with her Doctorate in Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry. She was awarded many academic scholarships and is a member of several honor societies including Gold and Key Honor Society, Tomb and Key Honor Society, and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.

Dr. Ansari completed her residency in Ocular Disease with an area of emphasis in Low Vision Rehabilitation from Jesse Brown VA and Edward Hines Jr. VA. She has a passion for helping those with low vision needs through vision rehabilitation and medically necessary contact lenses.

Dr. Ansari currently splits her time between The Chicago Lighthouse and is also full time faculty at Illinois College of Optometry. Outside the clinic, she enjoys being outdoors, trying new foods, and photography.
