Lighthouse CDC Children Visit World-Acclaimed Horse Show
Lighthouse CDC children experienced a unique touch and sound tour of the world-acclaimed Cavalia Odysseo Horse Show on Thursday. Odysseo includes 65 majestic horses, 48 riders, dancers, aerialists, acrobats, stilt walkers and musicians in a unique blend of equestrian and performing arts. The children and their families had a chance to touch the horses, meet their riders and enjoy musical entertainment. Afterwards, they were treated to snacks and received toy horses as souvenirs!
The event was covered by CBS 2 and ABC 7, which aired stories Thursday evening. You can view the full segments here, and here. Principal Lee Burklund of The Lighthouse’s CDC program also appeared on WGN Radio’s “Bill and Wendy Program” to discuss the children’s visit. You can listen to her full interview here.
