Anthony Fiore, CPA, MBA

As CFO, Anthony (Tony) Fiore oversees The Chicago Lighthouse’s fiscal functions and has management oversight for administrative support services, including the organization’s Finance and Accounting departments. He is responsible for preparing, interpreting and effectively communicating financial information and analysis to The Lighthouse’s Board and senior leadership team in order to facilitate sound financial stewardship and decisions.

Prior to joining The Lighthouse, Mr. Fiore was the CFO of The Family Institute at Northwestern University, where was responsible for the organization’s Finance, IT, and Facilities functions. He also served as VP of Finance and Controller at Feeding America, one of the country’s largest non-profit organizations.

Tony was drawn to The Chicago Lighthouse after a member of his extended family experienced age-related macular degeneration. He has served on the board of Guild for the Blind (now called Second Sense), including as president, where he gained insight into the resources and tools available to empower people with vision impairments to live independently.

Tony graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and received his Master of Business Administration in Finance also from the University’s Charles H. Kellstadt School of Business. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and an avid runner.
