Vice President, Employee Relations & Training

Alan joined The Chicago Lighthouse in 2023, bringing over 25 years of employee relations experience in nonprofit agencies, along with service in government on public commissions addressing disability and accessibility issues, and civil rights.  Alan strongly believes that the strength of any organization is its people and as Vice President of Employee Relations and Training, he is dedicated to helping all employees reach the potential they desire through performance management, training, supportive policies, DEIA initiatives, and employee engagement.

Alan is excited to work with his colleagues in human resources and everyone throughout the agency to help The Chicago Lighthouse achieve the distinction of being a Best Place to Work.
