Seniors Program – In-Person Only in Glenview: Audio Descriptive Movie, The Miracle Worker

This movie will be shown with audio description which uses narration in an attempt to describe visual content.
The Miracle Worker focuses on Helen, a young girl everyone believed was too deaf, dumb & blind to be helped. A child with the inability to speak or comprehend the world around her. She was saved by Annie Sullivan, a persistent & outspoken teacher who came into Helen’s life. Together they accomplished the impossible & taught one another the values of patience, tolerance & compassion. They embark on an amazing & triumphant journey that made the name Helen Keller synonymous with the education of the deaf & blind around the world. Rated G.
