The Warmest Welcome

When The Foglia Residences’ first tenants arrive later this year, they will receive a nice welcome thanks to Lighthouse supporters like you. This spring, our community came together to do something special by raising over $50,000 to purchase housewarming gifts of furniture and small appliances for our new neighbors. Each of these items was specially chosen for accessible features, such as a dining table that accommodates wheelchairs and safety knives that prevent kitchen accidents.

The Chicago Lighthouse is deeply grateful to everyone who participated in this effort, especially Don Toy who generously matched the first $10,000 in gifts to the Housewarming Campaign. We also salute Laurie Randolph, Anne Maschmeyer, and Sue Smith, who gathered their friends in May for a party that raised over $10,000 in one night.
