Adaptive Yoga for People who are Blind or Visually Impaired

Join us for an exciting and inclusive event of adaptive yoga specially designed for individuals who are blind or visually impaired by The Chicago Lighthouse and Shirley Ryan Ability Lab. This event aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for participants to explore the benefits of yoga.

Hosted at 222 W Hubbard St, Lower Level, this in-person event will take place on Saturday, July 27th, 2024 from 1:00-2:30 PM (Central Standard Time). Visually impaired, Certified Yoga Instructor, Jonathon Schultz, will guide you through a series of yoga poses and breathing exercises for a 45 minute flow, adapted to meet the unique needs of each participant.

Whether you are a beginner or have previous yoga experience, this event welcomes individuals of all skill levels. Our friendly and knowledgeable instructors will ensure that you feel comfortable and confident throughout the session.
