Eric Cromey

Eric Cromey, Desktop Computer and Adaptive Technology Specialist, has worked at The Chicago Lighthouse for over 13 years. He evaluates the needs of clients who are blind or visually impaired and provides the best solutions available to help them accomplish their goals. Eric was the Co-Founder of the first adaptive technology help desk in the world, which provided technical support to individuals with vision loss internationally. Now he serves as an IT Specialist for our Customer Care Centers, providing hardware and software adaptation to anyone with accessibility needs. He also lends his insight and expertise to Low Vision Product Roadshows, which bring cutting edge adaptive technologies and independent living aides to underserved communities. Eric holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Lewis University.
