The Chicago Lighthouse was very kindly asked to participate in the Motorola ‘Chicago Maker Challenge’ last week. This is a great event to encourage students to come up with ideas to make the world more accessible to people with disabilities.

Tom and I headed down to the Harold Washington Library to show and talk about technology for people with visual impairment to the students taking part. We both had a great time talking to the students and hope we inspired some of them to make a difference!
