Seniors Program North – Audio Descriptive Movie: Marshall

This movie will be shown with audio description which uses narration in an attempt to describe visual content.

In honor of Black History Month, Marshall will be this month’s feature film. Marshall is based on the incredible true story of future Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall & one of the landmark cases of his life. It follows the young lawyer to conservative Connecticut to defend a black chauffeur charged with sexual assault & attempted murder of his white socialite employer. Muzzled by a segregationist court, Marshall partners with a courageous young Jewish lawyer & together they mount the defense in an environment of racism & anti-Semitism. This film is rated PG-13.
