Jeff Tweedy Acoustic Benefit Concert at The Vic Theatre

Wilco band leader and lead singer, Jeff Tweedy, will hold two acoustic performances on April 15th and 16th at The Vic Theatre, 3145 N. Sheffield Ave.  A portion of the concert proceeds will go towards The Chicago Lighthouse and Near North Montessori School. 

Jeff Tweedy and Wilco have reached major success with two Grammy Awards in 2004 and 2005.  Wilco headlined the Lollapalooza festival in 2008 and Jeff Tweedy has performed solo shows across the country.  Most recently, he produced Chicago soul legend Mavis Staples’ "You Are Not Alone" album, which won a Grammy award in February  2011.
