Humanware Synergy desktop CCTV
The new Humanware Synergy desktop CCTV has just recently been introduced and has lots of great features.  Like many of the new CCTV's Synergy offers a 22-inch and a 19-inch flat panel monitor.  The monitor raises and lowers easily and tilts in any direction.  The 22-inch monitor has a spectacular picture with very natural colors.  I like to look at lots of photographs and colored pictures, and I have to say that the Synergy does the best job of any unit on the market to date.  Even colors from an old magazine actually come out better than the photograph itself!  Another great feature Humanware is offering is no extra charge for advanced features such as line markers or windowing.  Another important feature is the ability to hook the Synergy unit to your computer-this can be done at any time making the Synergy and upgradable unit at little or no cost.
Moshi Talking Clock

Moshi Talking Clock
The Moshi talking clock beats all other talking clocks in the market.  With its large display and fancy rotating colors, Moshi looks impressive from the start.  But wait to see what Moshi can do.  Do you ever have difficulty setting the alarm?  It's easy with Moshi-you say "set alarm" and Moshi responds"say the time you want the alarm set."  Then you say "6:15 a.m." Moshi then says " your alarm is now set for 6:15 a.m." it's that easy!  Other unique features include special sleep sounds like listening to the waves on the ocean, or listening to the birds chirping. Moshi knows the time, the date and temperature.  Even if you don't have low vision, this clock could be fun for children or teenagers or anyone!  Contact our store for new information about the new travel Moshi. 1-800-919-3375

Magic Knife/Lettuce Knife
I absolutely love this knife!  It is the best $12.95 I have ever spent!  This little green wonder knife helps me in the kitchen for such things as slicing a bagel, while holding it in my hand. I never have to worry about cutting myself, even if the knife blade runs several times over my skin.  It does not cut you.  This knife is made out of a hard plastic that never rusts.  One of its primary uses is cutting vegetables like lettuce.  Did you know that using a metal blade to cut lettuce can leave brown edges from the oxidation. This knife, being plastic, will not.  The knife is dishwasher safe and no kitchen should be without it!

Pebble
For years I would wish someone would invent a portable CCTV I could take with me anywhere! Now, the marketplace has caught up with my dreams of reading on the go! I choose the Pebble by Enhanced Vision as one of the best on the market. It is easy to use and the slide out handle makes it easy to see not only print, but the thermostat, appliance dials and photographs! For text, I love the six viewing modes in clear, contrasting background and foreground colors from 2X to 10X.

Daylight Freedom Portable Battery Lamp
Plug it in overnight and get ready for hours of use during the day – anywhere! The convenience of having an excellent light source that can be moved from room to room is a perfect combination not only for us with low vision, but really for anyone! This bright daylight lamp activates immediately when lifting the top shade. No need to plug it in or mess with cords. It has a weighted base so it won’t tip easily, and a moveable handle makes it easy to carry from place to place! Work at your desk, carry to the kitchen when slicing vegetables or move it out to a workshop or anywhere extra light is needed.

KNFB Mobile Reader
I see a trend in our industry, for the first time we have products that do more than one function. In fact, the KNFB Reader has the potential to do many tasks. Take a picture above a book or magazine, and the reader will quickly display and read aloud the page. It couldn’t be easier! It can also be activated for cell phone use at a later time. You may consider Mobile Speak or TALKS which allows access to all the phone menus for the blind. How about a special GPS navigation system that speaks to you? The Wayfinder GPS system can later be added to make this product your ideal helper! Add internet connection plan and receive spoken emails right on your phone! The cell phone (not activated) and reader start at $1,495.00
