Chicago
Lighthouse Industries has been manufacturing wall clocks since 1977. What makes
our products stand out from the rest is our unsurpassed quality control
efforts.
We demand top quality from our suppliers through strict specifications, as well as provide a unique 3-Step Testing Procedure on our clocks. Our efforts result in an accuracy of 0.33 seconds per day.
Step 1:
Each clock at Chicago Lighthouse Industries is 100% inspected on the production
line for damaged, loose or bent hands, hand alignment, and damaged dials or
bodies before the crystal is assembled.
Step 2:
Once the clock moves off the production line, the clocks are hung on functional
test boards where they are tested against a Master Clock for 12 Hours and given
a second 100% visual check by Quality Control for scratches, foreign material,
and other visual defects.
Step 3:
Thirteen clocks are randomly selected from 1,000 to 2,000 finished products and
tested against the atomic clock in Colorado
for a period of 72 hours. If any clock loses more than one second, movements
are discarded and the entire lot is totally rebuilt.
