Our comprehensive low vision examination includes:

Vision Loss Evaluation - An initial personal intake by a Psychologist or Social worker will help give an understanding of the extent of vision loss and extend information about the many services available to assist with independent living, employment, and more.

Low Vision Examination - A thorough examination by a Low-Vision Specialized Optometrist who will use state-of-the-art technology to educate patients on their specific eye condition(s).

Rehabilitation Plan - A Rehabilitation Plan with prescriptive devices and non-optical aids such as magnifiers, telescopes and CCTV’s, to improve their ability to perform visual tasks, such as reading and seeing faces. Real-Life Hands-On Implementation - Next step is to implement the plan into our patient's real life, home, school, and/or work! That is, Occupational Therapists, Low Vision Rehabilitation Therapists and Orientation and Mobility Specialists will work with patients to ensure they understand how and when to use devices, thereby ensuring a successful outcome.
