Friend of The Chicago Lighthouse, Jim Chesire, will be racing the 70.3 mile Steelhead Ironman triathlon in Benton Harbor Michigan on July 31st to raise funds for the Lighthouse Scholarship Program.

A volunteer at the agency, Jim himself has been visually impaired since early childhood in his left eye. "We need places and people like the Lighthouse to remind all of us that, where many see limitations, we see signs of opportunity," says Chesire.
