Louis Braille Bicentennial Traveling Exhibit Stops at Hadley in July

To celebrate Louis Braille’s 200th birthday, The Hadley School for the Blind is presenting a display of Louis Braille’s life on view for the public Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. July 2-30. The 20-panel traveling display, produced in print and Braille by the National Braille Press, takes a viewer through the highlights of Louis’s life, the braille production process, and why braille remains important today.

The Hadley exhibit is one of nearly 20 stops across the U.S.  Other venues include MIT, the San Francisco Public Library, Boston College, and the National Braille Association.
