Chicago Lighthouse Opens Newest Low Vision Clinic in Glenview
In an effort to accommodate more individuals in the northern suburbs who are experiencing vision loss, The Chicago Lighthouse is opening its newest low vision clinic in Glenview.
The facility, which will become the Lighthouse’s eighth location providing low vision care is located at The Glen, 2640 Patriot Boulevard Suite 100. It will be open the third Thursday of every month, beginning February 18, from 9 am to 4 pm.
This partnership with Chicago Glaucoma Consultants, Dr. Steven Brown, M.D., F.A.C.S., Dr. Madhu Gorla, M.D. and Dr. Lisa Young, O.D. will serve the area’s low vision patients.
We are delighted to announce the establishment of our new Glenview clinic and are thrilled to be partnering with these three outstanding doctors, said Dr. Kara Crumbliss, director of low vision services at The Chicago Lighthouse. They should be saluted for recognizing the needs of the patients in their practice and community who suffer from vision loss.
In addition, The Chicago Lighthouse provides low vision services at its main facility at 1850 W. Roosevelt Road as well as at satellite clinics in Skokie, Arlington Heights, Elk Grove Village, Calumet City, Des Plaines and at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, 675 N. St. Clair, on Chicago’s near north side.
