The Tools for Living Store has been custom-designed to ensure ease of mobility and browsing for customers who are blind or visually impaired, as displayed in the photo gallery below. The 1,200 square foot facility also offers a broad array of products including: 

Electronics such as desktop/portable CCTVs, image/text-to-speech electronics, GPS, and other adaptive technologies.

Independent Living Aids such as talking clocks and watches, canes, kitchen appliances, computer programs, games, sunglasses, and much more.

General Merchandise such as health & beauty items, Lighthouse apparel, accessories, and souvenirs.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.  All proceeds benefit the Chicago Lighthouse.
