Melissa Wittenberg

As senior director of The Chicago Lighthouse North, Melissa oversees everyday operations of the Lighthouse’s satellite agency in Glenview. She is a native of the area and her mother has been living with myopic macular degeneration for more than twenty years. Her volunteer activities include serving as chairperson and commissioner of the Oak Park Farmers Market, and she was awarded Oak Park’s Volunteer of the Year award in 2010. Melissa is also involved with the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust and the National Beep Baseball Association. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois.
