At the "Flair- Fashionable Philanthropy Acquisition Event," fashionistas will mingle at Chicago Jewelry Designer’s Ellie Thompson + Co. Studio, enjoying a fun evening of fashion, conversation, cocktails, hors d’oeurves and philanthropy.  Ellie Thompson + Co. is donating 15% of purchased jewelry to go towards Chicago Lighthouse programs and services, which help people who are blind or visually impaired lead more independent lives.

Guests are asked to bring at least one item of designer, vintage or couture clothing or accessories as an entry fee and donation.  All couture items will be featured in a "grand finale" fashion show, scheduled for Sept. 24, 2011, at Saks Fifth Avenue on Michigan Ave.  Immediately following this fashion show will be a two-day sale at The Peninsula Chicago of all donated items.  Click here for more info about the Flair events in September.
